About me
Hannah Johansson's research is focusing on PFAS in stormwater including the occurrence, point sources and variation of different types of PFAS in urban environments. The research takes place in Sweden by sampling from various types of stormwater facilities and stormwater bodies. The goal of the research is to gain increased knowledge about in what types of urban areas PFAS in stormwater occur and in what forms. This to hopefully be able to reduce the spread of PFAS in stormwater in the future and to provide better understanding of stormwater's impact on contamination to other parts of the environment.
Hannah has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science at Linköping University and a master's degree in public planning for sustainable development from Örebro University. She has also worked with water issues from an environmental and sustainability perspective, with extra focus on stormwater, at Örebro municipality. Today, Hannah is employed as an external doctoral student at the Water and sewage department at Växjö municipality within the competence center DRIZZLE.
