About Me
I am a Senior Lecturer in Spanish and a certified teacher in Spanish. In 2017, I earned my PhD with a dissertation in Spanish literature, framed within an anthropological theoretical approach.
Teaching
I have taught Spanish at both university and high school levels. At the university level, I have been responsible for courses ranging from beginner Spanish to literature, cultural studies, academic writing, and supervision of teacher candidates' theses.
Research
Since my doctoral studies, my research has been focused on literary studies. Between 2020 and 2022, I received a fellowship from the Ahlström-Terserius Foundation to conduct postdoctoral research. My research area centered on the literary expressions of the indigenous peoples of Abya Yala (Latin America).
Supervision
I have experience supervising theses at both undergraduate and advanced levels at various universities, with a particular focus on teacher candidates.
