I have been a PhD candidate at Luleå University of Technology since January 2026. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spatial Planning from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Urban Design from Lund University. I have previous practical experience from both the public and private sectors.

My research is part of the Centre for Walking at LTU and focuses on walking as a mode of transport within Swedish municipal planning. By examining levels of knowledge, political attitudes, and the discrepancy between vision and practice at the local level, my research aims to contribute to Sweden becoming a knowledge leader in spatial planning for walking.
