Kerstin Möller

I am working as part of the Arts Based Research Centre (ARC)

With an interdisciplinary background in sonic geography, urban sociology, urban planning, choreography audio engineering, composition and media arts, I am working through combined artistic and scientific research on landscape perception, extractivist landscapes and logics of extraction in the sub-arctic / arctic, river ecologies, embodiment, climate change, eco-somatics, relationality and degrowth.

I have had guest lectureship positions at the University of Hildesheim, State Academy of the Arts Stuttgart and The University for Arts and Design Karlsruhe. Next to my work as a choreographer and sound artist, I have worked as a creative producer and project manager for dance and contemporary art in Germany, Poland, Georgia, Sweden and the United Kingdom, and worked in cooperation with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
