About
Lewis’ research interest lies in environmental remediation through sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Kyungpook National University in the Republic of Korea 2025. In his current postdoctoral position, he will be involved in the ProWater project. Specifically, Lewis is investigating the potential of locally available apatite material from mine tailings in Northern Sweden to be used as filter materials for phosphorus treatment. The project will be performed in close collaboration with LKAB, Kajani University of Applied Sciences and University of Oulu.
