My research project focuses on the planning and scheduling of railway track maintenance. Maintenance of railway is a costly operation that plays a vital role in assuring reliability and safety of railway traffic. My research is developing data-driven decision-making frameworks to improve maintenance planning and scheduling efficiency and effectiveness. The decision-making framework can help railway infrastructure managers make more effective and efficient decisions in maintenance operation while keeping the track condition reliable.
