Mimisha Menakath

About me

I received my B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram, Palakkad, Kerala, India, in 2013, and my M.Tech. degree in Signal Processing from Government Engineering College Barton Hill, Trivandrum, Kerala, in 2016.

From 2016 to 2019, I worked as a Lecturer in various polytechnic and engineering colleges. I completed my Ph.D. at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Palakkad, Palakkad, India, on the topic “Signal Processing for Underwater Real-Time 3D Acoustical Imaging” in 2025. My doctoral research was part of the Defense Research and Development Organisation–Ministry of Human Resource Development (DRDO-MHRD) Research Program, India.

My current research interests include signal processing for acoustics and RADAR, underwater imaging, ultrasound imaging for various applications, ultrasonic array design, and deep learning techniques for acoustic imaging systems.
