About me
My research work is in the field of process metallurgy, focusing on the development of innovative and sustainable approaches for hydrogen-based steelmaking. The research explores integrated reduction and carburization processes for iron ore pellets with the aim of achieving high metallization, controlled carbon content, and improved process efficiency. The overall goal is to contribute to the development of low-carbon ironmaking technologies that support the transition towards more sustainable steel production and reduced CO₂ emissions.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master's degree in Engineering Materials Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where my thesis focused on the characterization of manufacturing defects in lithium-ion battery electrodes and separators. Prior to that, I completed a Master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the National Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Chennai, India, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Mumbai, India. Following my studies at KTH, I worked in industry for three years in the field of battery material characterization and failure analysis, gaining experience in material evaluation, defect analysis, and advanced characterization techniques.
