Short Biography
I am a specialist nurse in both psychiatric and gerontological care, with a Master’s degree in Nursing. Over the years, I have gained broad and valuable clinical experience from several areas, including inpatient and outpatient acute psychiatric care, forensic psychiatric care, child and adolescent psychiatric services, and elderly care. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of individuals’ needs at different stages of life and across diverse care settings.
As a licensed teacher, I have worked as a high school teacher, but now I primarily work with education in both the bachelor’s and specialist nursing programmes, where I have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals, something I find both meaningful and inspiring.
My doctoral project focuses on developing a model for recovery-oriented Post-incident conversations after the use of coercive measures in psychiatric care. The aim is to support patient recovery, strengthen participation, reduce coercion and contribute to a more humane and supportive care environment.
