About me
Srija Dangudubiyyam’s primary PhD research focuses on understanding how climate change affects the hydrological behaviour of urban streams and how effective adaptation measures can be developed through stormwater measurement and modelling. By combining field measurements in urban streams in Umeå, Sweden, with hydrological modelling, she aims to investigate how these streams respond to current and future climate conditions and how adaptation measures can influence their hydrological behaviour.
Srija holds a joint Master’s degree in Flood Risk Management from TU Dresden (Germany), IHE Delft (Netherlands), UPC Barcelona (Spain), and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). For her Master’s thesis at the Dutch research institute Deltares, she investigated flash floods in dry streams (wadis) in Jeddah.
