About me
I am Senior Lecturer in English and Education at LTU where I teach English literature, literature and education, and culture, on the English B.A. program and various teacher courses. I am co-ordinator for courses in Languages, Philosophy and Natural Science education.
I am a member of the editorial review board of CLELE, Children's Literature in English Language Education.
I have previously taught at Lund University and Malmö University.
Education
Ph.D in English Literature (2010) from Lund University; M.A. in Children’s Literature (2000) from Reading University, United Kingdom; B.A. American Literature (1998) from Uppsala University.
Research
My primary research interests are intellectual history, in particular the development of editorial practices of medieval documents in the print era, and Arthurian literature, in particular Malorian afterlives. My work explores the critical aporia which occurred in the field of research around Sir Thomas Malory’s Le Morte Darthur, after the discovery in 1934 of an alternative version of the text.
I have also published articles on Malorian editorial practice and feminism; on children’s literature, literacy and the law; and on how to teach children's literature and social justice to teacher students.
