Site visits are visits to different places in Norrbotten and Västerbotten where you, as a student, get a unique insight into the possibilities and future of the municipality. You get to meet local entrepreneurs, get to know the hidden gems of the place and gain insight into what career opportunities await you there. Travel, food and accommodation are included.

Destinations we have visited

Arvidsjaur is perhaps Sweden's most charming municipality, located in the heart of Lapland, Norrbotten County, invites you to experience everything from sparkling starry skies and magical northern lights to the enchanting midnight sun. With its 6,070 inhabitants, Arvidsjaur offers a quiet and safe place where nature is always close. Here you are embraced by magnificent landscapes with crystal clear lakes, snow-capped mountain peaks and deep forests - a place reminiscent of Narnia.

In Lycksele, you are close to most things and you will find a welcoming municipality, both to visit, live and work in. There is a strong and growing labor market here, where different employers offer a rich variety of occupations.

Malå is an attractive and sustainable place in Lapland with fresh air and eight seasons. There are good preschools and schools, public employers and a varied business community with global companies. There is housing in both the central town and the villages, as well as a rich cultural and leisure offering. The Tjamstan area is being developed for the future with various housing options. Malå has world-leading companies in ground-penetrating radar, forestry, reindeer husbandry, geology and mining, and you can help shape the future here.
