Congratulations – you have made a great choice and we are glad to have you as our student at Luleå University of Technology.
Enrolment
To retain your place on the program you have been accepted to, you must register for the program.
Distance students: Registration takes place online on Ladok the 31st of August.
Campus students: Registration takes place on campus Luleå B-building at Service Point the 31st of August.
The registration is the basis for receiving LTU-card, accessing the course platform Canvas and for writing exams.

We are excited to have you with us and look forward to an engaging and educational time together.
During the first week, we will have several activities and meetings to help you get started and feel at home.
Please check this page regularly for updates on what is happening.
Schedule
select Course/Program in the Search field. Enter course code, e.g. A0002E. Set end date to October 31. Search, then click on the course code in the box Results. It will now appear under My criteria. Repeat for your other course. Click on Show schedule
Literature
The literature for the course is given in the course syllabus and you will find it in the link above ‘Courses quarter 1’. Please note that the course literature can be changed up to 10 weeks before the course starts.
More information about the programme
Information security is becoming increasingly important today. In this programme, you will deepen your knowledge of security work in large and small organisations with a socio-technical perspective on the interaction between people, technology, working methods and regulations. During the programme you will learn, for example from real cases and incidents, how conscious staff, technical solutions, well-developed and tested procedures and a good security culture can contribute to establishing and maintaining well-functioning information security in organisations. After finishing the Master's programme, our students can get highly qualified jobs in Sweden and internationally.
