Training for students: How to respond to ongoing lethal violence (OLV)
Although the likelihood of violence in the school environment is low, it can happen at the university. By being mentally prepared and having the right knowledge, you can save both your own life and the lives of others.
LTU is now strengthening its preventive efforts against ongoing lethal violence (OLV) and other crisis situations. A key part of this initiative is to educate both staff and students. Once again—being trained and prepared can save lives.
With support from materials provided by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), the Swedish National Agency for Education, the Police, and the Center for Preventing Violent Extremism (CVE), LTU has developed a micro-training for students.
Please note that where films and materials refer to "pupils," this also includes university students.
