Current international situation: The conflict in the Middle East

Below is a brief summary of the current situation.

On 28 February, the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran, targeting military and strategic sites in and around Tehran. Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks against Israel, as well as against US military bases in several countries in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Hezbollah has shelled northern Israel from Lebanon. Israel has responded with airstrikes, and the conflict has consequently spread to other parts of the region.
