Major changes in bus services on Porsön from June 1

From Monday 1 June 2026, Laboratorievägen will be closed to all traffic. This will lead to major changes to bus services on Porsön.

The following routes will have their routes or stops changed: 4, 5, 6, 12, 41, 402 and 404.

Bus stops to be removed

• Kårhusvägen
• Laboratorievägen
  

Aurorum stop

No longer served by Luleå lokaltrafik. The stop remains and is served by Länstrafiken.

New stops

• Two new bus stops (C and D) will open outside Porsöhallen.

How the bus lines are affected

• Lines 4, 5 and 402
  Will follow a new route after the Luleå Science Park stop. They will run via Universitetsvägen and stop at Universitetsentrén and Porsö centrum (positions C and D).
  Will no longer stop at Kårhusvägen and Laboratorievägen. Route 402 will no longer stop at Sundet and Assistentvägen.
  
• Bus 6
  New stops at Professorsvägen and Björkskataleden.
  Will no longer stop at University entrance and Haparandavägen.
• Bus 12
  Will take a new route after the Professorsvägen stop and stop at the University entrance and Porsö center (location C and D).
  Will no longer stop at Kårhusvägen and Laboratorievägen.
• Route 41
  Will have a new route to Vänortsvägen via Björkskataleden, Professorsvägen, Porsö centrum (location C) and Universitetsentrén.
  Will no longer stop at Kårhusvägen and Laboratorievägen.
• Route 404
  Will have a new starting stop at the University entrance.
  Will no longer stop at Kårhusvägen and Laboratorievägen.
