Road and footpath closures near the F Building
Akademiska Hus has announced utility works near the F Building that will affect access along Laboratorievägen, Geogränd and nearby pedestrian and cycle paths. The work is provisionally scheduled to begin in week 42 and continue until the end of the year.
During weeks 42–53, parts of Laboratorievägen and the pedestrian and cycle path along the eastern side of the F Building will be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via Geogränd. A pedestrian route approximately three metres wide will remain open alongside the E Building.
The car park north of the K Building will also be closed and used to store construction materials and excavated soil. The work includes installing new water, sewerage, district heating and electricity infrastructure. Noise, vibrations, construction dust and construction traffic may occur in the area and inside the F Building.
Akademiska Hus will hold an information meeting on 6 October from 9.00 to 10.00 in room F434, where you can ask questions about the work.
