
Welcome to the Startech 25 Programme
Join the Startech 25 Programme – a unique opportunity to innovate in space exploration! Collaborate with international peers during an intensive innovation week in Rome, earn 3 ECTS credits, and compete for the Startech 25 Award.
Join our blended intensive course designed to inspire and foster innovation in space exploration and technology. Kick off your journey with online introductions and interactive team-building sessions. Then, dive into an immersive, hands-on innovation week hosted at the prestigious University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy, where experienced mentors will guide your creativity.
The programme concludes with an exciting pitch competition where your team's innovative ideas will compete for the prestigious Startech 25 Award.
Collaborate Across Disciplines Students will work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams, broadening their horizons and enhancing their professional skills.
Schedule and Teaching Format:
- September 8-12, 2025: 3 synchronous online sessions
- September 15-19, 2025: On-site innovation week in Rome
- September 22-26, 2025: Final online synchronous session
Venue: University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy
Who Can Apply? Open to LTU students: Bachelor’s (all years), Master’s, and PhD students from all backgrounds—both STEM and non-STEM disciplines are warmly welcome.
Participation: Approximately 50 students selected, with about 7 students from each UNIVERSEH partner university.
Credits and Funding:
- Earn 3 ECTS credits upon successful completion.
- ERASMUS+ scholarships will cover most of the travel and accommodation costs.
