STARTECH 2026: Luxembourg
Join the Startech 26 program—a unique opportunity to be part of driving innovation in space research! Collaborate with international students during an intensive innovation week in Luxembourg, earn 3 ECTS credits, and compete for the Startech 26 Award.
Take part in an intensive course designed to inspire and promote innovation in space research and technology. Start your journey with online introductions and interactive team-building activities. This is followed by an engaging and practical innovation week at the prestigious University of Luxembourg, where experienced mentors will support your creativity.
The program concludes with an exciting pitch competition where your team's ideas compete for the prestigious Startech 26 Award.
Collaborate across disciplines
Students work in diverse, interdisciplinary teams, which broadens their perspectives and strengthens their professional skills.
Schedule and teaching format:
- April 15-30, 2026: Scheduled online sessions
- May 4-8, 2026: Innovation week on site in Luxembourg
- May 2025: Final online session (2 hours)
Location: University of Luxembourg, Belval Campus
Who can apply?
The program is open to undergraduate students (all years), master's and doctoral students – from both technical and non-technical backgrounds. All backgrounds are warmly welcome!
Participation
Approximately 50 students will be admitted, with around seven students from each partner university within UNIVERSEH.
Credits and funding
- Receive 3 ECTS credits upon successful completion of the course
- ERASMUS+ scholarships cover most travel and accommodation costs

- Personal letter: Tell us why you are interested in the Startech program, what skills and qualities you can contribute to an innovation team, and indicate if you have previously participated in any UNIVERSEH events or activities.
