Frequently asked questions
Each programme has a programme syllabus. In the programme syllabus, you can see which courses are compulsory or elective, and whether there is space for optional courses. You can find the programme syllabus on the specific programme page on the LTU website. You can also view the reading order there. Clicking on a course will take you to its dedicated course page, where you can read the course syllabus to find the learning outcomes, expectations, and examination formats.
It is not permitted to replace a course in the programme syllabus. To graduate, you must follow the programme syllabus and successfully complete all compulsory courses, elective courses up to the required number of credits, and optional courses up to the required number of credits.
Contact Service Point for help. Keep in mind that you do not have priority for a place on the courses included in the specialisation. A change or a late application may therefore mean that your study time is extended.
No, not if you have completed the courses at a recognised Swedish University. When you apply for a degree certificate, you mark in Ladok which courses you want to be included in the degree.
If you do not meet the entry requirements, you cannot start your degree project. You must apply for the course again before the next time the course is given. Contact the study counsellor if you need help planning your studies.
