Targeted study support
If you have a documented permanent disability, you can apply for targeted study support during your studies.
Documentation required
You need documentation that confirms your disability when you apply. The document must show that the disability is long-term and be issued by a qualified professional.
A qualified professional can be a doctor or other licensed healthcare professional, such as an audiologist, speech therapist or psychologist. It can also be a special education teacher with expertise in reading and writing assessments.
If you do not have documentation, you can contact your regional healthcare provider or another provider that carries out assessments.
Apply well in advance
If you need adjustments for an exam, you must apply well in advance. If your application is submitted late, close to the exam registration deadline, it may not be processed in time. This means you may not receive the adjustments you need.
How to apply
- You apply in the Nais system via the application link.
- After your application has been received, a coordinator will contact you by email or phone. At the start of the semester, it may take up to three weeks before you receive a response.
- If your application is approved, you will receive a decision with recommended support. If your application is rejected, it may be because your documentation does not show a long-term disability.
To apply, go to Nais.
