As a student affairs professional, you may be looking forward to a summer vacation or a summer job. Either way, we hope you take care of your health and recharge your batteries for the next school year!
Here are some tips from the Student Health Service
- Take the opportunity to rest. Allow yourself to "just be"
- Lower your shoulders and take in all the smells and sounds of summer
- Reduce your screen time
- Get moving, preferably outdoors in nature
- Fill your plate with nutritious vegetables
- Remember to drink plenty of water if it's sunny and hot
- Socialize with people you like
- Stick to eating and sleeping routines
