The conference will be held at the Altitude conference facilities in The Loop, Lund. Located in the Science Village area, it lies near the outstanding research facilities of the MAX IV laboratory and the European Spallation Source (ESS), and is easily reachable by public transport.

Travelling

The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup), Denmark.

Travel from the airport to Lund Central Station by train takes ca. 35 minutes.

Train tickets can be purchased from (Note: no purchase of tickets possible on the train):

- Swedish Skånetrafiken ticket machines or in their app

- Danish DSB ticket machines or the DSB ticket office in the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport
Groups of two or more people will receive a discount if buying the “Duo”/”Family”/”Together” type of ticket. Tickets from Copenhagen Airport to Lund will also be valid for onward travel to your destination within Lund.

The closest domestic airport is Malmö Airport.

From Malmö Airport, Flygbussarna coaches run to Malmö Central Station, which directly connects to Lund Central Station by train.

Further transportation information

• Tram:

Tram no. 1, directly from Lund C, the University Hospital or LTH to the ESS stop. Departures every 10 minutes during rush hour, then every quarter of an hour (timetable: skanetrafiken.se)

• Car

Easiest route is to take the E22, exit Norra Lund.

Car parking

Outdoor car park approx. 200 m away, operated by LKP (permits available via the LKP app).

• Taxi or transport service

Use address Mesongatan 4 (standard drop-off/pick-up point).

• Bus

Regional bus 166 from Lund C. Get off at Lund Solbjer and change to the tram.

Regional bus SkåneExpressen 1 from Malmö Central Station with final stop at Kristianstad. Get off at Lund Norra, approx. 300 m to the Lund Telefonplan stop and continue with the tram to Lund ESS bus stop
