ULF (Developmental Learning Research) experimental activities

ULF is a national research activity carried out on behalf of the Government between 2017 and 2021. The research activities will develop and test sustainable collaboration models between academia and school in research, schooling and teacher education.

Strengthens the links between university and school

Luleå University of Technology has signed four collaboration agreements with school principals in Piteå, Luleå, Kalix and Skellefteå. The purpose is to establish closer links between academia and school within the framework of the national experimental activities ULF (Development, Learning, Research).

Examines students' study motivation

What is it that motivates students in their school work and can you find keys to unlock the individual's driving forces? These are questions that a new project at Luleå University of Technology hopes to find the answers to.

Collaboration strengthens the school's scientific foundation

For two years, Ulrika Bergmark, assistant professor at Luleå University of Technology, has worked as a flexite scientist at Piteå municipality. A form of collaboration where the university's research is moved out into society with the aim of building bridges between academia and school activity.
