In the media: Carbon dioxide-free asphalt can reduce Sweden's emissions by one percent

Today, asphalt is heated through fossil fuel combustion and asphalt management accounts for about one percent of Sweden's carbon dioxide emissions. The project SMMART (Swedish Magnetite Microwave Asphalt Road Technology) develops a microwave-based technology for heating asphalt with mixed magnetite.
