The company Hello Future talked about the upcoming version of the mobile app "My Skellefteå." The theme is highly relevant as the municipality at the end of May, won the Golden Link. The seminar ended with Cajsa-Tora Hermansson, Umeå University. She presented her thesis in which Skellefteå Museum's  database for imagesis  has been used for building a time machine, which allows users to travel in time and see how different Skelleftea Environments has developed over time.

-This is the third seminar  in our research project NIMO (Nordic Interaction and Mobility Research Platform). We collaborate with the University of Uleåborg and Rovaniemi to build a common research platform, says project leader Karl Andersson, Senior Lecturer at Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå. The collaboration with Skellefteå Municipality and the local IT industry is an important part of the project.

-Over 50 people from the IT industry and the municipality participated in the seminar. This shows the big interest and Skellefteå's leading position in mobile e-services. The Golden Link Award shows that we really are in the front row, says Karl.
