In May, 14-16 the fifth Nordsken event in four years will take place at Scandic Skelleftea. Approximately 600 paying participants and 2000 visitors are expected to the event. As previous years, Luleå University of Technology will participate to meet young people interested in technology. Furthermore, the student will take the opportunity to test the games that they developed during their studies.

- Nordsken is perfect if you want to do game testing, says Peter Strandberg, who studied computer game development at Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå. We have received really good feedback from participants at Nordsken. Peter is part of a  group of Game development- and Computer graphic students that together developed Impacto, the game that made success at Nordsken recent years. Also this year, the game will run in the university's booth.

This year another exciting student game have begun to take shape. Seven students (computer game and computer graphics students) are working on a game called Cryptid and are planning to continue the work during this summer. They are hoping for a good response during Nordsken.
