Creative condom campaign

In this weekend's Young Creative Challenge 52 people battled to develop an advertising campaign that increase condom use among young people. After 24 intense hours settled the contest.
– It's absolutly possible that we run the winning campaign for real, says Maya Bergström Wuolo as public health strategist at Norrbotten County Council.

The winners of the Young Creative Challenge was Andrew Uneby, Alexandra Flinck, Sara Lindroos and Magnus Björklund. They are all students at Luleå University of Technology and comes from the programmes media design, radio production in new media and experience production.

– It was really a strength that we had different perspectives during the competition. It is a great advantage to be different, because people with different academic backgrounds think in completely different ways, says Andreas Uneby.

In addition to the honor group won 15,000 Swedish crowns.

Hits the right target group

Maya Bergström Wuolo, public health strategist, Norrbotten County Council, is the "customer" who gave the contestants the assignment to create a campaign to increase condom use.

– The campaign is sleek and attractive to the target audience. Because it can be varied in many ways it has a long life.

52 people participated in the Young Creative Challenge and were divided into eleven teams.

The Jury Chairman Ronny Olovsson, partner and public relations strategist at advertising agency winter was very pleased with the winning entry.

– The presentation of the concept was so good that we are in the jury felt compelled to double check that no professional agency employees worked in the group, he says.
