Success of Entrepreneur Week

Entrepreneur Week was a success. Over 1000 students, business people and scholars attended the lectures and the events during the four days - now plans are being formed for a follow-up during 2016.

- Shed Simove was by far the most inspiring speech I've ever been on. It was a real boost of motivation and creativity! Now I just want to continue working with all of my ideas, says Moa Persson, participants during the week and the student who reads the industrial economy.

Entrepreneur Week took place on 10 -13 November and had 10 keynote speakers and 15 ancillary activities. The theme for the week was entrepreneurial issues with the objective of creating a meeting place for business and universities, and to increase the region's entrepreneurial culture. Among the lecturers fans Andreas Ehn, Spotify's first employee and technical manager, Karin Nilsdotter, president of Spaceport Sweden and Anna Stenberg, Head of the Stenbeck Group, and Peter Carlsson, logistics and purchasing manager for Tesla.

- In terms of the budget we had, the number of participants who came to the lecturers we attracted so we can confirm that it has been a success. The response has been huge and it's great that so many were inspiring. We believe we can make many improvements in Entrepreneur Week and has already begun talks on some type of continuation in 2016, says Peter Olofsson, contact for the Entrepreneur Week.
