Piteå students won SEK 10,000 for the best business idea

The Idéacceleratorn 2016 has had the final business ideas that students have developed during the summer - One Perfect Song won SEK 10,000 when the audience voted for their favorite.

One perfect song, an idea where personal songs are produced for weddings, birthdays and other celebrations, won amongst seven projects originating from students from Luleå University of Technology and the program the idéa-accelerator.

Students Siri Wallentén and Johan Johansson both studies studio training in Piteå and were proud and happy to have come so far with their company in just one summer. The project was awarded SEK 10 000 and is one of the companies started in the idea accelerator that far enough to enter the service incubator Go Business, operated by LTU Business AB.

The other projects have been developed by the economics and architecture students led by business developers Lisa Braafnäs and Johan Bergström from LTU Business AB.

The idea accelerator is a way for Luleå University of Technology to develop sustainable business ideas while the students are studying. The ideas include everything from the concept that small student apartments, a repair shop for clothes, a company that helps people get back the money after flight delays, computer games and lights that both shines and helps to dampen the acoustics in public spaces.

Some of the projects have gone further into the Arctic Business Incubator, and already have several of them to go on the market and start selling to the customer.
