Charlotte Andersson new member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences

Charlotte Andersson is Assistant Professor of Process Metallurgy at the University and used to be Program Manager for the Strategic Innovation Program SIP STRIM, to strengthen Swedish mining and metal manufacturing industry.

"I am very happy and honored to have been elected as a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA, and look forward to participating in the work to promote engineering science and to increase knowledge about minerals and metals in society," says Charlotte Andersson.

Charlotte Andersso research is about pelletization in Hydrogen Breakthrough Ironmaking Technology (HYBRIT), a collaboration between SSAB, Vattenfall and LKAB to produce carbon dioxide neutral steel.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy whose mission is “ promote the engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.”
