LTU Business wins innovation management assignments worth SEK 6.5 million

LTU Business is to map market potential for six new innovations in the European mining industry, using their patented method Innovation Due Diligence®, IDD, at a total of SEK 6.5 million. The innovations aim to boost sustainable processes and competitiveness across the sector and are backed by EIT, EU’s institute for innovation and technology.

- We are now seeing the results of our strategic efforts to build international specialist expertise in innovation management in parallel with the development and packaging of our own innovation, the validation method "Innovation Due Diligence®, IDD", says Gry Holmgren Hafskjold, CEO, LTU Business.

A more sustainable and efficient mining and mineral sector
The assignments, mainly concentrated to countries such as Germany, Spain and Italy, are led by industrial giants such as Fiat, Siemens, the German mining consultancy DMT and Arcelor Mittal can be mentioned. The assignments run over three years and aim to make the European mining and minerals sector more sustainable and efficient.
