About the course
The course is for you who, among other things, need to be aware of bad positions or have the task of improving the condition of the workplace, work with designing and improving workplaces, develop work orders and work processes or with checking various work permits.
This course is designed to provide participants with concepts, principles and process knowledge about the workplace's and workers' digital safety and health monitoring. Determining the potential risks to the musculoskeletal system, as an important health-related issue in the workplace, through working postures in the workplace via conventional and off-line methods is expensive and time-consuming.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Analyze the workplace ergonomically
- Study, monitor and analyze working conditions for workers
- Use of available software and application for position assessment of workers
- Explore the critical work condition
- Provide the solution (s) to improve working conditions
The teacher in charge
Dr. Behzad Ghodrati is a professor of operation and maintenance technology at Luleå University of Technology. He has more than 30 years of internationally recognized executive and academic experience in mining, reliability and maintenance technology. He has developed, led and participated in several industrial research and implementation projects in mining, railways and human factor in maintenance. He has also developed and completed several education and training courses / programs related to mining, reliability and maintenance technology since 1993.
He has published several articles and book chapters, and has articles in worldwide scientific and industrial conferences. He was also the guest editor of the International Journal of Mining, Reclamation, and Environment.
