LEAN Production
LEAN is a production philosophy and method for improvement work that aims to identify and remove all factors in a production process that does not create value for the end customer. Its goals can also be described as "more value for less work". In the course you will learn strategies, principles, and concrete methods for implementing LEAN production in your organization.
About the course
Lean production consists of a set of principles and techniques that are included in the business's systems and processes. These can be traced to a special business philosophy and strategy that encompasses the entire organization's operations. The course provides an understanding of basic strategies and principles in lean production. It also provides a basis for further studies of how the new generation of world-leading companies working according to a lean business strategy conducts their business.

- Strategies and principles for Lean production
- Stable processes and standardized working methods
- Design of value flows
- Pulling and pressing production systems
- Quality philosophy and quality methodology
- Teamwork, commitment and participation
- Management system with PDCA methodology
- Corporate collaboration along value flows
- Transformation into a Lean corporate culture
