This year's participants in the growth program Fast Track

Behind Fast Track are Luleå University of Technology and LTU Business, the second round of which will start at the turn of the year. In the eighteen-month diploma program, participants gain knowledge and tools to drive change in their businesses, with a focus on growth through, for example, product development or business strategy.

The participants are people who run or lead businesses around Norrbotten and Västerbotten. Emma Norrfors, business developer at LTU Business has been responsible for recruitment and match-making between companies and business coaches. -
- In Fast Track, we strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies through collaboration over a longer period, ”says Emma Norrfors, LTU Business.

- The companies that choose to participate in Fast Track work together with researchers from Luleå University of Technology and professional business developers from LTU Business to analyze their operations. Based on research-based tools, the challenges at the companies are jointly solved during a series of study visits and workshops, Emma explains.

Fast Track is led by Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck, professor and subject representative for product innovation at Luleå University of Technology.
- Close collaborations between companies and universities are something that benefits the entire business community and the country's growth in general. Our hope is that Fast track leads to a fast, sustainable growth for each participating company and that the program is spread to the rest of the country ", concludes Anna.
