Strategic collaboration
Luleå University of Technology is characterized by close cooperation with the surrounding community. Our ambition is that what we do will create societal benefits. This characterizes our vision and as part of structuring collaboration, we have entered into agreements with a number of strategic industrial partners where we have an established relationship and where we see opportunities for an in-depth dialogue about future collaboration. We have also entered into partnerships with the municipalities where we operate, Kiruna, Luleå, Piteå and Skellefteå.
The agreements aim to meet the rapidly changing world together and with united forces and strengthen the long-term strategic cooperation in education, research and innovation. The purpose of the collaboration is to increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of both Luleå University of Technology and our strategic partners. Together, we want to identify future areas of collaboration and develop goals, strategies and concrete action plans and joint activities within these.
The university and the collaborating party must together develop research, innovation and education for a sustainable society. The partnerships will contribute to achieving Vision 2030 and meet the goals in our strategic plan.
