Preschool's systematic quality work: From teaching to analysis 7.5 ECTS

This education comprises 7.5 higher education credits and is conducted as a process training during a semester. The program includes lectures, workshops, seminars, reading of literature and examinations.
Educational goals:
- describe and interpret the preschool teacher's responsibility for teaching in relation to systematic quality work
- argue for how documentation and educational documentation contribute to the development of pre-primary education (activities) in general and the teaching assignment specifically
- describe how different theories of learning and teaching affect the preschool teacher's assignment regarding teaching and systematic quality work
- analyze different backgrounds in systematic quality work from different theoretical perspectives
The course includes
- Preschooler's responsibility regarding teaching and SKA (teaching, didactics, scientific basis, quality, goal formulation)
- Teaching theories and the consequences of theories for teaching
- Importance of documentation and educational documentation in SKA
- Analysis and assessment of education and teaching
Teacher
The course's two teachers Sara Cervantes and Susanne Westman are university lecturers in pedagogy with a focus on pre-school education at Luleå University of Technology and have long experience in preschool as an area of activity
