Preschool teacher leadership for pre-primary education (7.5 HP)

This education comprises 7.5 ECTS points and is completed in one semester. The course aims to deepen understanding among active preschool teachers regarding the preschool teacher's leadership and teaching in preschool. The program includes lectures, workshops, seminars, reading of literature and examinations.
Education objectives
- Describe, interpret and analyze the importance of preschool teacher leadership in relation to the preschool teacher's responsibility for teaching
- Develop an understanding of the relationship between the concepts of education, teaching and learning
- Describe, interpret and analyze the preschool teacher's responsibility for teaching
- Describe, interpret and analyze how different theories of learning and teaching affect the teacher's teaching mission

Teacher
The two teachers of the course Anna Öqvist and Sara Cervantes are university lecturers in pedagogy with a focus on pre-school education at Luleå University of Technology and have long experience of preschool as a field of activity
