Site innovation in northern Sweden's tourism industry
The Great Northern, Skellefteå
The electricity industry is in a paradigm shift, with a rapidly growing number of electric cars and data centers and increased opportunities to disconnect from power grids in favor of so-called micronetics. The Great Northern in Skellefteå was filled with over 100 people in the audience when the speakers Professor Math Bollen from Luleå University of Technology and Magnus Brodin from Skellefteå kraft looked into what the future has in mind regarding power grids.
The interest was great when Marscha Pauelsen and Irene Vikman, PhD student and researcher at Luleå University of Technology, talked about falls and fear of falling on Great Northern in Skellefteå. Over 70 people participated in the first lecture of the year within the initiative "The University presents in Skellefteå"
