Concussion is a recurring problem in many sports, especially in ice hockey. What happens in the brain during a concussion and what is the best treatment?
Åsa Engström, professor in nursing at Luleå University of Technology, and Lars Lundgren, physiotherapist with long experience of rehabilitating patients after concussion, talk about the consequences of too many concussions and what it can mean for an athlete to quit their sport. We will also listen to former Luleå Hockey player Nathalie Ferno, who shares her own experiences of concussion.
