How can we preserve our memories and avoid losing ourselves as we age? Jessica K. Ljungberg, new professor of Engineering Psychology at Luleå University of Technology, presents the latest research on brain training.

The people in the western world are getting healthier and living longer, while at the same time more and more people are experiencing loneliness and under-stimulation after they retire. Jessica K. Ljungberg has during the last ten years studied how we can best train the brain with everyday activities. Her results show that the key to good aging is a life of constant activity and challenges. We have to train our brain like any muscle with everything from mental to physical exercise. During the lecture, she talks about the latest research in the field, and what findings her own research group has made.

The lecture is open to the public and no registration is required. We allow maximum 45 persons in the venue due to the ongoing pandemic. Please, stay home if you have symptoms of covid-19.
