The Center for Educational Development welcomes you to attend a series of workshops: LTU’s Pedagogical Principles in Action. In this workshop we look closer at the concept of constructive alignment.

Simply put, constructive alignment is the idea of clearly connecting teaching and learning activities and assessment to what we want students to learn (i.e. the intended learning outcomes). In this workshop we will provide an overview of the main ideas behind constructive alignment, explain the role of constructive alignment in efficient course and program planning and discuss how this can be applied in different types of courses and programs.
