Work-related data from Google Drive to a home or common directory at LTU

A guide for you who have work-related data in Google Drive and need to move it to a home / shared directory on LTU's local storage service LTUFS, H: or K :. To do this, you need to be connected to LTU's network.

  1. Open, click Open Drive. Enter as email address, click Next .
  2. If you are not logged in automatically, log in with your LTU user.
  3. Select all your work-related information in Drive, right-click and then select Download.
  4. Once the files have been compressed into a downloadable ZIP file, select Save as at the bottom of the screen and save the ZIP file to the desktop.
  5. Open Windows Explorer on your windows 10 computer, and then open the directory and folder you want to save to.
  6. Open the ZIP file on your desktop that you just downloaded from Google Drive, select all the files and drag them to the folder.
  7. When you are done with the above. Select all the files in your Google Drive that you have now moved and delete them. If you do not clear the information from Google Drive, you will receive an automatic copy of your information.
