Instructions (Sharing files or folders)
- Go to https://portal.office.com and log in with email@example.com and your LTU password.
- Click on OneDrive.
- Right-click the file or folder you want to share and select Share
- Enter the name or the e-mail adress of the person you want to share the file or folder with, and select permission, if the person should only be able to view and download files or also be able to edit, delete and upload files.
Note: You have to uncheck the box "Require login" if you're inviting an external contact.
If you share a folder with editing permissions the user can then add the entire folder in their own OneDrive. Both you and the invited participant can then easily share files and work with documents in the folder even if you are offline. (This requires that you have installed the OneDrive client).
