Register computer

Requirements

  1. LTU owned computer.

Instruction


Create a request to Servicedesk to register the computer in the system. Include the following in the request:

  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Date of purchase
  • Serial number
  • Owner (Only LTU staff can be owner of computers)
  • Location (Room number)
  • Kst (the three first digits in project number)

IT-service will also require you to mark the computer with an inventory tag and a theft tag. If you wish to have your computer installed* at the same time as the registration, we will inventory and theft tag the computer for you.

When your computer is registered you can connect the computer to our network.

*Computers that are installed by IT-service should be in the recommended list in Wisum.
