Legacy RefWorks

Published: 20 March 2019

So far, it is possible to use the two versions in parallel. It is not the same login as the one you have to your old RefWorks account. Once all the problems at the transition have been resolved, RefWorks Legacy (the old version) will disappear.

RefWorks legacy is replaced by New RefWorks

NOTE! Do not switch to New RefWorks if you have an active document in which you use the old RefWorks and Write-n-Cite for Word. Complete your entire document before you log in to Write-N-Cite with your New RefWorks login. After that, it will not be possible to add more references. RefWorks is working on finding a solution that will allow you to continue working on a document that has started.

You can import your references from old to new RefWorks.

You need to reinstall Write-N-Cite (the RefWorks add-on) in Word to be able to log in with your New RefWorks login. Uninstall the Write-N-Cite add-on in Word and then reinstall it from within New RefWorks.
