At the library's Edit-a-thon we can help you with academic writing on Thursdays from 13:00 to 14:30. You will get a place for concentrated work while also having the opportunity to receive tutoring from staff.

What can I get help with?

Edit-a-thon can help you no matter where you are in the writing process.
Examples of questions we can help you with are:
  • Academic language and style
  • Structure, paragraphing and throughline
  • Referencing and citing

We can also be a sounding board if you need help interpreting an assignment, for example.

How to I participate in Edit-a-thon?

The library has Edit-a-thon every Thursday from 13:00 to 14:30.
Digital via Zoom - even weeks
On campus at the library - odd weeks
When it is on campus it will be hosted in the Academic Learning Classroom (ALC, B1301) on the upper level of the library.
Edit-a-thon is drop-in, so no registration is needed! Stop by when you want and stay as for long as you need!

Current dates and the Zoom-link can be found in the student calendar.

Do I need to prepare anything?

You do not have to prepare anything! Simply bring your text so that we have something we can look at together.

Does the time not work for you?

The library has more services surrounding academic writing that you are welcome to use, see below.
