- Study places
We have many study places in the library, for groups and individuals.
We have two computers on the entrance floor and two downstairs. You log in with your LTU user.
We also have a computer for searching in databases on the entrance floor, near the entrance.
Eating food, salads or sandwiches is not allowed in the library.
On the entrance floor it is allowed with coffee and cake.
Water and fruit are allowed in the whole library.
- Group rooms for students
We have many rooms for studying in groups. Most of them are booked through the booking system.
Some rooms are available without any booking.
Note! During the ongoing pandemic, we have limited the number of people in the room to a maximum of three.
- Quiet area
Downstairs is a more quiet area. There is also a silent reading room. No group activities, conversations or mobile phones are allowed.
Only water and fruit are allowed downstairs.
There are two studios in the library. One for visualizing your ideas, experiment and create collaboratively and the other for practicing presentation technique and work with digital storytelling. Read more about our studios in the menu to the left under Experimental Learning Spaces.
Eduroam gives employees and students access to the wireless Internet when staying at affiliated universities. Others can get a guest user valid for 24 hours via a terminal located at the library.
Your own computer can be connected to the wireless network. It is also possible to connect your own computer to the LTU fixed network

Three copy machines/printers.
All group rooms are equipped with a large screen. You can connect/share from up to four different devices (computers/mobiles) wireless to the screen.

In the library there is three group rooms for 6-7 persons, you book them through the booking system, see link below.
- Listening equipment
In one of the group rooms there are a listening device for older format, LP, CD, cassette, MiniDisc and DAT.
- In the library there are also computers for students and study places.
