Luleå University of Technology 50 years

Luleå University of Technology was established in 1971 and celebrates its 50th anniversary in September 2021. We start our celebration in the autumn of 2021 and continue with activities until June 2022. Hopefully we will find forms for a celebration with employees, students, friends and stakeholders and the public.

Long distance on bare ground

In June, Luleå University of Technology's run and walk challenge ended. The goal was to once again reach the same distance achieved in the ski challenge - it was not only reached but surpassed by another 600 kilometer!

Preliminary program Luleå University of Technology's 50th anniversary

Luleå University of Technology's planning for the 50th anniversary starts in the autumn term 2021. We will start with some profile products and give-aways in the university's store at all university locations. Until the autumn, we focus on the web and things that are aimed at small groups.
