Students meet companies at a new fair
On November 23, the new market exhibition SKARV will be held for the first time at Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå. It is aimed at students studying economics, IT, wood, machinery and energy technology.
– We want to create a platform where students and companies can connect, says Simon Altun, marketing manager and student on the engineering programme.
The exhibition will last for a half day and start with a presentation of the companies and the project team. After the presentations, the exhibition floor opens where students and companies have the opportunity to meet each other.
– There has been a lot of interest from the companies and we have many interesting companies in place, such as Skellefteå Kraft, Acon and Rejlers. Our ambition is for both students and companies to leave the exhibition with new contacts, says Anders Anderson Andersson.
– We want SKARV to be established as an annual recurring exhibition at Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå, says project manager Joel Olsson.
SKARV is held in the Forumsalen and opens to the students at 11.45.
SKARV is an ideal initiative belonging to the student association Campus Skellefteå.
